Slow, very slow
13e Sep 2004(By the Clemster)YES I want to go slow for the entire race. On my long runs I'm doing between 11 and 12 minutes a mile, and that works pretty well. Honestly it's probably closer to 12 minutes than 11. I run at about an 11 minute/mile pace and then walk about 1 minute of each mile. I don't think I could sustain anything faster than that.
