Hello my lovelies, Sarah here. Are you all sitting comfortably? ... then I will begin. Today was the best kind of day - hot and sunny - so whilst Peter was at work, and Erinn and Ailsa were having lunch with some of Erinn's work friends, Ali and I decided to follow in the footsteps of previous visitors to Columbus (Shirley and Ian, Richard and Jennifer) and go to the zoo. As you can see from the photos, a lot of the animals were dead ... I mean sleeping, but we still had a WONDERFUL time (paritcularly Ali who felt very much at home in thegorilla enclosure).
Ali really enjoyed the train ride (although if we're truthful, he was more interested in how the train WORKS rather than all the animals we were seeing during the journey, and when a photo op of an orange digger came up he just couldn't resist!). I liked the boat ride and the manatees the best (so much so that we forgot to take any pictures of these huge seal-like animals - oops!).
We topped off the day with dinner from City BBQ (yum yum yum yum yum) and the new season of the West Wing (oooooooooooh). Tomorrow we shop (yipppeeeee!!!).
For all those who tuned in just to hear about Ailsa, she looked gorgeous today, and yesterday, and the day before, and the day before that ...
